Last night, the ITV weather-lady informed me that today was going to be bringing a 25 mph North Westerly. No chance of fishing then!

Until today, on Weather-watch duties at Prestatyn Sailing Club, 'Clueless too' informed me that we had a millpond situation!

On arrival at the beach, it was indeed calm and still.
An ominous wall of cloud was however, heading westwards at a good rate of knots.

The Maestro turned up along with the wind and rain.
I had been biteless but he put me to shame by catching on his first cast.
A small Whiting to fresh Lug.

The wind was right up by now.
The sun showed itself for all of 10 seconds. not even long enough for me to get the camera out.

Still fishable but, I decided to leave The Maestro's masterclass and head home to watch the Wales v Scotland match.
