Venue - Rhyl Hydro
Tide - High
Time - Night
Bait - Frozen Lug
Date - 28th October 2009

1hr either side of high water was all I could muster.

Like last night, it was non-stop from the off.

Whiting, Whiting and the occasional Whiting!

A better stamp tonight with severel going over 30cm.

Tonights icing on the cake was a bonus Codling.
No size but my first from the shore for 3 years!

With reports of a couple of double figure fish comong out of the Mersey in the last week, this could be a great year!

Don't forget, we've got to be in it to win it!

Pick up your rods, open your freezers, book that charter trip...........................................

Whatever you do, just get out there!

This Winter could be the stuff of legend!

Happy Days!

Well done on the Codling Mike.

I was on castwatch at Splash Point this afternoon.

A couple of blankers were leaving as i went onto the beach but Terry ( who had sneaked off in secret using my worms out of the fridge!!! ) managed some Dabs and Weevers.

Im sure hell do a report tomorrow.

After speaking to someone who was at the match at Otterspool at the weekend, it appears 2 big Cod were caught. One was 11lb 14 oz, the other was 11lb 12oz.

Looking forward to the 9th January now!!!
