I don't think you can go wrong with Daiwa Sensor Mono, I have used this for years granted mainly for coarse fishing. I have just purchased some Grauvell Bionix Japanese Mono(
Purchased here) , this was heavy line purchased for tomorrows boat trip, but seems good value for the cost, time will tell.

same here Joe, ( 20lb lite) not so stuck on the ( yellow) night crystal though, maybe makes no difference whatsover but I feel more confident when using a clearish line and leader even in the dark.
Also I really notice the much higher rate of abrasion wear on line at Aberystwyth retreiving over shingle compared to off the sand at Rhyl and the nite crystal seemed more damage prone than the lite.

Prefer to use tapered shock leader ( currently sakuma) for a much neater knot to main line, better casting and less shock to the ring liners.
