MERSEY PIRATES SEA ANGLING CLUB are holding an open on Otterspool prom on the 25th October.

Entry fee £7. There will also be a raffle.

Winners will be; Best 2 fish, flat & round combined, if no-one catches flat & round then biggest fish will win.

ANYONE CAN WIN THIS EVENT. From novice, to match angler, all it takes is one good fish

Book on between 10 and 11:30 at otterspool pub, fishing 12:30 till 16:30. Weigh in 17:00 till 18:00
One rod only, 2 hooks only. Anything over 20cm counts.

Book on 09:00 to 10:30
Fish 11:30 to 16:30
Weigh in 17:00 to 18:00.

Been told a few cod have already been coming out at jag house and a few lads fishing there last weekend had loads of whiting,maybe its time to give the caravan a miss that weekend Question

So as to give the organizers an idea of how many are to fish, can all anglers phone Joes shop on 0151 933 0026.
Because the match is to be pegged we need to have an idea of how many pegs etc.

I was asked to post this by our chairman.

As for codling, yes a few have been coming out recently. We had a 2.5lber out on sunday aswell as lots and lots of whiting. There are still some thornies coming out aswell so it should be good Cool
