| Where the hell did that picture come from, the only place i can think of is some where down by the Palace Hotel Looks like a publicity photo as you can see the edges of the turf |

| its obviously a model village so just tried googling it but although it is mentioned i cant find out where..................i did find out however that the last woman ever to be hanged in britain was from rhyl lol.74 west parade to be exact.think ive said before in another post but i never realised that rhyl had such a fascinating history.Only really starting looking into it since i moved to the new pines after spending every summer here as a kid(used to stay on sunnyvale as kids when they had a pool and wooden chalets)anyone with any good websites etc about the history of rhyl let me know.....cheers Ian |

Try this one Ian, http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northeast/sites/rhyl_town/history.shtml . If you are interested in Rhyl history, next time you're in the town, have a look in the Welsh book shop in High Street (opposite the Job Centre), they have quite a few books on Rhyl. If it's still in print "Old Rhyl" is an excellent read. There is also quite a good Museum in the Library. |

| You are correct but thier were quite a lot off dolphins came and went in rhyl .Iworked for rhyl amusments and looked after the water and filter system for a few years. i believe the pool is still under breaks. in its early days it was always full and took qauite a lot off money. |
