On my last social visit to Llandudno, i called down at the West shore by the paddling pool.

Has anyone on here fished that way before, and any tips!!!

Thanks

A bloke in work lives in Llandudno and has some good Flounders and Plaice from the gulley infront of the boating pool in early summer ( April and May )

There are Bass there too but those fishing for Bass tend to head into the rough ground more towards the Orme with bait or plugs.

I would expect Whiting, Flounders and Codling there in the Winter months but having never fished there i cant say for certain.

Musselboy is still telling me off for us leaving too early that night. 5 hours without a bite. And this a few minutes after we left!!

p.s. you may as well show the picture of the shark you caught on your previous cast, get it over with.

West shore not much depth at high but a clean ground expect flounder / whiting, odd bass, crab is best here for the flounder. lug tipped with mackeral for the whiting. very comfy spot to fish with good parking. some of the lads are of to Deganwy tonight but only for a hour befor and after low, then moving to North shore for a few hours to high.
hope this helps.
