Had an invite to climb Snowdon on friday, this was a first for me so I grabbed the opportunity with both hands & off we went. The pictures don't do justice as the scenery was spectacular, the low cloud rushing up the mountain sides was amazing, took a few shots - see what you think

i went up there a few yrs ago before they started the new building,spectacular views on a nice clear day but the train was £40 odd quid for the 2 of us..................think i will be walking up next time cheers

Well done, you'll be hooked now. I like to do Snowdon in the winter, its another world then and worth a try.

I was certainly impressed & although I was a wandering if we had chosen our route wisley for my first ascent up Snowdon when we finaly reached Crib Goch my fears turned to excitement at the challenge ahead, it was very satisfying to have completed the Snowdon Horseshoe & as for being hooked, I'm hoping to do Cadair Idris next possibly some time in September.

Would like to have a go at Snowdon in the winter but havn't got the right equipment or experience to take up that challenge, but who knows whats around the corner.
