the lamp can be run on aa alkaline or lithium burn time depends on batterries,i used 2700 nimh in mine.

Aaaaaargh my eyes lol

ive owned 3 tigas they are bright but those batterries are heavy,when you have the princeton on yer head you dunno if youve got it on.

Thank you for the excellent advice Wormy,it just so happens that i am in the market for a new headlamp and its high time i brought myself and my old but trusty Petzl in to the modern world .This looks an excellent buy for me because i dont want anything big and heavy like a tiga etc etc( had enough of carrying something like that when i was coal mining )
