Just got back from the Cork small boats comp that was on last week. We had cracking fishing for most of the 10 days that we were there. We didn't do very well in the comp but had plenty of fish and good laugh. Here's a few picys of the fish we had.

Plenty of Bass

Biggest was 8lb

All the lads on the piss in cork city

I spotted a Basking Shark out there 1 day but the picture isn't very good!

We had 5 trigger fish on practice day but couldn't get 1 on the match days

We had some nice big Red Gurnards

Loads of Ling, you catch these at the same rate that you catch doggys over here!

We had some big whiting up to 2lb

Some nice pollack

Had a megrim 1 day which was a first for me

And here's a beach we fished 1 day when we got blown off. This was the only day we never caught anything, there's a lot to be said for this boat fishing!

We ended up with 15 species miles away from the 28 that won it! We had conger, ling, poorcod, ballans, corkwing, haddock, cuckoo wrasse, doggy, cod, whitng, grey and red gurnard, dabs, megrim, and pollack. We had a few other species on practice days that we couldn't find on match days. Very Happy
