we headed off down to the lleyn penninsular after work friday, later we were joined by ben and his dad pete, top guys

after they erected their tent is was time for a scran and a few social beverages it was deemed an early night was in order, as sat brought

a six am start.



sat morning soon came and the alarm clock went off, we packed the days equiptment, bait, and provisions onto the boat and headed over to

the slip. soon we were launched and headed off to the first mark to get some mack, ben and pete quickly filled the bait tank and we headed

off to the main mark of the day.





john and i have worked together as a team from boat and shore for a few years now and if we have a bad session,,,,,so what, no big deal !

but this trip, we had ben and pete with us, and the chance of a tope or two,,,,,the pressure was on !

two rods were set up for the tope, and we waited.

more and more time seemed to pass by with only the odd huss disturbing the baits, finally a run on petes rod resulted a fine tope being brought

aboard, well done pete !



what seemed like an eternity passed, then bens ratchet screemed off, resulted in another nice tope, well done ben mate !



phew,,,,,with the pressure off and pete and ben both happy, john had a nice one followed by me.
